Meet Dr. Rose
Scott P. Rose, DMD, MD, FACS was born and raised in the Atlanta area. Dr. Rose grew up in Roswell, GA where his father practiced dentistry for 40 years. Dr. Rose attended Auburn University in Auburn, AL, where he received his Bachelor of Science. Following his undergraduate education, Dr. Rose went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received his D.M.D. in 2001. He attended the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he graduated with honors and received his M.D. degree in 2004. Dr. Rose did an internship in General Surgery and his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida and its affiliated hospitals. Dr. Rose enjoys all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a focus on the management and removal of impacted teeth, dental implants and bone grafting, office based anesthesia and sedation, corrective jaw surgery, and surgical management of TMJ disorders. Dr. Rose is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the American Medical Association, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Society of Dental Anesthesia. In his free time, Dr. Rose enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters.
