Robert K. Hunt, MD, DDS grew up in Atlanta, he has both a DDS degree and an MD degree. He received the former from the Baylor College of Dentistry, (1985) and the latter from the University of Alabama (1994).
A Georgia Tech graduate who went through a full scope 4 year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia, a 1 year General Surgery internship in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is board certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He has been practicing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 1985 & Cosmetic Surgery since 1995. He is an American Board of Cosmetic surgery examiner. He is on staff at Emory Adventist Hospital.
Dr. Hunt is also the Chief Maxillofacial Surgeon for the Atlanta Thrashers Hockey Team.
