Jonathan M. C. Threadgill, D. M.D. attended 2-years of college on a tennis scholarship achieving Academic All American. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB)
with a degree in chemistry receiving honors and special recognition. He went to dental school at UAB graduating in 2005. He completed a general practice dental residency becoming well versed in treating medically compromised patients. Following his residency, he practiced general dentistry before pursuing his interest in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University including an extra year in a surgical internship and advanced anesthesia training.
Dr. Threadgill is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association,
Georgia Dental Association and current candidate for board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He has authored and published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has presented at national meetings. He has made medical mission trips to Peru and Honduras.
Dr. Threadgill takes an active part in the community and in his church. He plays regularly in ALTA (Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association) and enjoys hunting and other sports activities.
